This was a surprising journey, first off I have never read a story with a pregnant male character. The book sounded intriguing it had shifter’s and an Omega. I’ve read other shifter books that had an Omega story line so I thought this would be a good book to try.
It started out with Ethan, who is an Alpha, driving and running across Luca, who is the pregnant tiger-shifter. Luca is on a bridge contemplating jumping off, his mate had been killed and he had no reason to live and no one to trust. Ethan talks him down and takes him home. Ethan felt the a pull for this Omega. This was a great set up and unfortunately for me it just sort of slid downhill from there.
I didn’t get a feel for the characters, I felt the sex was quick and unbelievable. I tried to like this book but it just wasn’t for me. I truly think that if the story would have been written into a Novel it would have been so much better. I really like this Author and with this story she just wasn’t able to develop it like she has her other works.
Book Description Luca Fiore loses his husband while expecting their child. The only thing left on Luca’s mind is to end his life.
Going home late from work, Ethan James spots someone standing at the edge of the bridge. Knowing what was about to take place, Ethan jumps out of the car, fully intent on stopping a man from killing himself.
As Alpha, Ethan hasn’t mated. He never expected to fall for a pregnant omega, but a single look at Luca and Ethan knows he’ll never want anybody else. He just has to wait for the right time to claim Luca as his.
