Here we go again, another sexy and action filled installment of the Mad Dogs. Brenda really brought it all to the table with this one. The Mad Dogs are forced into taking a Vacation (R & R in military terms) so off they went to the Ocala National Forest in Florida.
The sex is wild and crazy. I don’t think that Brenda has written the same sex scene in any of the books, each book has sex that is unique to that book. What I also liked was how she worked with Brian’s innocence and inexperience in gay sex, which he is becoming significantly more accepting of. With each book I’m getting drawn more and more to Brian, I’m really liking him and am sure enjoying his transition.
Action and Adventure is the name of the game with this book and we also have some new characters that were introduced, some natural shifters. Of course trouble follows our Mad Dogs and they end up in a fierce battle aided by their new friends. It was during the battle that we learn more about the relationship and how the Mad Dogs are tied to each other. I am really giving Brenda credit for writing a fight scene with multiple players that was easy to understand and keep track of.
As usual Brenda’s writing flows really smoothly and each of the scenes transition smoothly from one to the next. This book is part of a series and it most definitely needs to be read in order, with that being said there are enough subtle references that remind the reader about the characters and their relationship with each other without dumping the information on them that makes reading this series quite easy.
The big cliffhanger? I’m still waiting for the time when Brian gives up his anal virginity.
After rescuing Markus and Brian from the clutches of the sadistic Councilwoman, Shanna Crystal, the Mad Dogs are forced on R & R. None of them are happy and none of them want or need ‘rest & relaxation’ but they have no choice.
The campground, Dad T’s, is a gay soldier’s wet dream for R & R but the Dogs barely have a chance to enjoy all it offers when everything they know about the supernaturals that inhabit the world is turned upside-down.
She is an Amazon and ARe best-selling author and her love for reading fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary erotic romance has allowed her to apply her Bachelor’s degrees in management and marketing to her new career.
