A young man enraptured with a co-worker. This book had me hooked from the minute I started reading it, the book is well written and the characters are well developed. This is a fun lighthearted look at a 19 yr old closeted man that has the hots for one of his co workers.
This books takes us along as Trent bumbles along, you could almost say he is a bit clutzy. Imagine someone that is trying to cover something up and stumbles around knocking over stuff or getting in the way, that is our Trent. What he is usually trying to cover up is the erection that he seems to have most anytime he sees Macca. Macca is one of those construction workers we fantasize about and that includes Trent. Trent fantasizes on whether Macca is the one to take his virginity, whether he is the one that he’ll always be with or if he even has a chance, is Macca even Gay, and would he be interested in him. This is Trent’s thought process.
This is a very entertaining book one that I am sure has a place on everyone’s reading list.
The Book Description:
Apprentice painter Trent Hall is a total klutz when it comes to boys. In fact, he’s pretty bad at social interactions generally. So when a fit, super-confident, blue-eyed tradie called Macca turns up on the building site, the 19-year-old Aussie responds the only way he knows how — by making things way more awkward than they need to be. Misunderstandings, miscommunications and misfires abound on this hot, horny, and often clumsy adventure. But then, the course of true love never did run smooth. Not for Trent, anyway.
