Remy is at the bar, alone, bored, and horny. He is not, however, a barfly, so is not expecting anything to happen, and is ready to leave. The bartender, however, has other ideas, and points him in the direction of tall, dark, and handsome, playing pool and eyeing Remy as he does. With encouragement and advise from the bartender, Remy changes his mind and decides it won’t hurt him to feel out the situation.
Colt is the pool-playing beauty who has been checking him out, so Remy goes to the next pool table to do a bit of shooting, but doesn’t play pool, and pretty much makes a fool out of himself. Colt to the rescue, offering to teach him to play, and the flirting and touching begin.
But Remy is about to learn that things are not as they seem, and, as the name of the book implies, finds he is in the middle of a game played by Colt and his almost-over romantic interest, who I am not going to name at this time to not give away too much, but that is the beginning of the fun story that is Games We Play.
Zayne Michaels has woven a fun, sexy story of a bad night. The incidents that keep happening to Remy and Colt make you chuckle at the same time you feel sorry for them. It is a roller coaster in 28 pages. And with the heat of the sex, this is a great, quick read that I will read again when I want to just lie on the couch and catch a quick few minutes by myself.
Book Description Entering the small bar on the side of the highway, Remy didn’t harbor high expectations for the night, not until he notices the most gorgeous man in the place checking him out from across the room. Casual hookups in dark alleys aren’t his style, but he knows he’d be a fool to pass up such an opportunity.
From the moment the blond beauty stepped into the room, Colt had to have him, even if just for the night. Their parking lot tryst gets off to a sizzling start, especially when Colt realizes the barfly enjoys a firmer hand. It’s just a one night stand, though. What does it matter if he can’t remember the man’s name?
Unfortunately for him, it matters a lot to Remy, and Colt’s one-time fling is about to become much more than he expected.
