Justice is flying to stand up as best man for his friend’s wedding. Nic is flying home after his father’s funeral. Justice literally falls into Nic’s lap. Nic never thought he would see him again, but he was wrong.
Fate brings them back together. The problem is all of Justice’s neuroses and the fact that he isn’t out of the closet.
Silly? At times.
Adorable and romantic? Absolutely
Yes, we get it. Both guys are hot (natch). Both are pretty manly men. One has longish hair and the other “soft curls”. Sure we see this a lot but who cares. It was a cute, hot, romantic book. Stereotypes abound, but still. This book is worth the read.
Of course Nic has a girl best friend who wants to play match maker for him and teases him mercilessly.
What bugged me about this book was that 1) he sure wasn’t spending any time with his best friend- the guy whom he had gone to Seattle to see and 2) it really seemed as though his best friend was harboring some kind of secret- but there was no closure there at all. Maybe this will be addressed in the second book?
Although it was totally predictable and even formulaic, I enjoyed the story and the characters. Definitely more of a fun “fluff” read but worth it. Because let’s be honest. You aren’t reading m/m romance and erotica solely for the story line 😉
As if being a deeply closeted gay man living in the South isn’t enough, Justice Crawford also suffers from a crippling anxiety disorder. Flying cross country to be the best man in his best friend’s wedding probably isn’t the best idea, right? Forced back into the closet after being rejected by his family, Justice has given up on the idea of finding acceptance and love. He has allowed his disorder and his troubled past to keep him from taking a chance, but love might just find him where he least expects it… in Seattle.
Sailor and charter boat captain Nic Valentine is still reeling from the unexpected death of his father, when the man of his dreams—literally—falls into his lap. He thinks he’ll never see the man again, but fate has other plans. Nic tries to resist the charms of adorably quirky, nervous Justice, because he has no desire to get tangled up with another closet case. But when life keeps throwing them together, will Nic decide that Justice might be a keeper after all?
