And here we go on another Fantastical ride with Sandrine. Many of you know the first series that she wrote, Assassin/Shifter Series. Now we get another one to enjoy The 12 Olympians and I couldn’t be more excited. You see I love her writing and stories and if you were going to put a label on it, you could call me a Groupie.
Book 1 starts us off with Skylar who is the son of Poseidon and a wolf-shifter named Justice. The characters in this book all originated from the Assassin/Shifter series, but Sandrine did such a great job of writing this book. You can start reading this series and not feel lost, the past is explained just enough to make what is happening to Skylar, Justice and their friends to make sense.
It is fun to read about Skylar coming in to his powers, as you can imagine it can be a little alarming when you can make water dance with a wave of your hand. I really like the Suspense in this book, someone is killing the people that are closest to Skylar for the purpose of pimping him out. The old saying “The past is coming to haunt you” rings true.
You can really feel the Love that Skylar and Justice feel for each other, and understand the sacrifices the other will take to be sure this mate is safe. I adored this book and am anxious to get my hands on The 12 Olympians #2.
