This is Book #4 and the last one in the Personal Series. In my opinion this can be read as a stand-alone the Author did a fantastic job of giving enough of the backgrounds on the secondary characters that the book never missed a beat. I do recommend that the best way to enjoy it is to start at the beginning with Book #1. You can find the Series layed out on K.C. Wells Author page through the link below. It will really give the characters a much broader and rich personna.
Back to the review. There is an old saying that goes something like this: Get a “Straight” Man drunk and horny enough, and a hole is a hole, but in this case insert Mouth for Hole. Ed and Colin are mates and play on the same rugby team. Colin has been secretly lusting after Ed for the past year, stealing glances in the shower, watching his tight butt, hairy calves and muscled shoulders move down the field. Ed is oblivious to the fact? After a match they are all at the Elephant & Castle Pub getting drunk on pints except for Colin, who is on medication. A run to the Hospital because Ed’s best mate, Blake and his husband Will were expecting their first child and as it turns into a long night Colin drives Ed back to Ed’s flat. This is where the story really takes off as I revert your attention back to the beginning of the paragraph, and the saying goes something like this………..
This is a great story of two men learning about each other as they develop a relationship. The book is superbly written and I was impressed on how easy it was to read. The story is based in London and I have to tell you that Ed has a very gutter type British accent and K.C. Wells writes it that way. I thought it was fun, I was really getting my accent down as I was reading. I really like a believable story and this is one of those, you believe the characters, their actions and the actions of others around them. I was cheering the guys along the whole way and only had to yell at Ed a couple of times. This book makes me want to start with Book 1 and read about all of the wonderful characters that I was introduced to.
Book Description Blake Davis and husband Will are delighted when Ed Fellows turns up at the hospital the night their daughter is born—even if he is covered in mud from playing rugby and drunk out of his skull. Team-mate Colin is the Good Samaritan who drives him there, and when he takes Ed home, Colin finds himself on the receiving end of a blow-job. He has no problem with that whatsoever. He’s been in lust with Ed since Ed joined the rugby team some fourteen months ago. Only thing is, Colin’s assumed up ’til now that Ed is straight. Except the man sucking him off certainly didn’t seem straight….
Talk about the morning after the night before…. Ed awakens to find a nearly-naked Colin asleep on his sofa. The problem is that for some reason, he can’t get Colin out of his mind. Okay, so it wasn’t the first blow-job Ed’s ever gotten from a guy—or given, for that matter—but that was a long time ago, right? And why does Ed now want more?
With friends Rick, Angelo, Blake and Will to advise him, Ed finds himself on a completely unfamiliar road, as he struggles to accept that maybe the line he is walking isn’t as straight as he’d first imagined….
